Pricing

Most routine trims near Whitfield fall in the £100 – £350 range depending on hedge length, height and access. We give a fixed price after seeing photos and the postcode.

Timing by species

• Privet, leylandii, thuja - fast-growing, usually needs two cuts a year
• Beech, hornbeam - single late-summer cut (August to early September) keeps the russet winter leaves
• Yew - single late-August cut, does well on the drier chalk ground up around Whitfield itself
• Native mixed (hawthorn, blackthorn) - winter only (September to February) to comply with nesting law

What we don't do on trimming jobs

If a hedge needs more than a routine cut - it's overgrown, gappy, or has outgrown the position - that's a reduction job, not a routine cut. We'll tell you that at quote stage.
